Become a Day at State Host

Prospective students shadow Day at State volunteer hosts through their daily routine. Activities include going to classes, meetings, or other campus activities; eating in the dining hall; meeting with friends; and seeing the residence halls. Day at State hosts are paired (when possible) to prospective students with the same major interest.

Juniors and seniors in high school are eligible to participate. Reservations for Day at State visits are only available on weekdays during the fall and spring semesters. Day visits are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and are offered Monday-Friday. Overnight visits are from 4 p.m. until 4 p.m. (EST) the following day and are available Monday-Thursday. (Only students who live on campus may be overnight hosts.)
