Environmental Biology - Microbiology

The environmental biology - microbiology program is designed to prepare students for work and study in all aspects of the environment, especially those relating to environmental protection and remediation. It also prepares students for advanced study in environmental science, microbiology or other biological sciences, as well as some professional programs.

Graduates may apply for certification with the National Registry of Microbiologists of the American Society for Microbiology.

Students may also complete this major through Lyman Briggs College.
