Sign up for orientation

If you have not yet submitted your Advanced Enrollment Deposit (AED), you must do so before you can sign up for a New Student Orientation (NSO) date. After submitting your deposit, you will be given the option to select and sign up for an orientation date. If you've already submitted your deposit but did not select an orientation date at that time, you will be automatically be registered for the first available date.

Due to COVID-19, NSO programs have moved online for freshmen and transfer students who are U.S. citizens and enrolling in fall 2020. While orientation for fall 2020 will be a virtual experience, you still need to select an NSO date to meet with your adviser virtually and enroll in classes.

Students starting during spring or summer semester will be signed up automatically upon depositing, because spring and summer only have one orientation program each.

Log into your account to submit your deposit or review your orientation date. You can change your orientation date up to a week before your currently scheduled date. Orientation dates fill up quickly, so the earlier you review your options, the more dates you will have to choose from.

Parents and guardians of admitted students are also invited to sign up for a Family Orientation Program. These programs will also be held online this summer.

Visit the orientation website for more information on your upcoming orientation. If you have any questions about orientation, please contact orientation staff at 517-355-8490 or
