Ohio Spartan Grant
The Ohio Spartan Grant automatically awards a minimum of $10,000 to Ohio residents who are admitted to Michigan State University as incoming first-year students pursuing an undergraduate degree. This grant is renewable for four years as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria outlined in the out-of-state scholarship regulations. Michigan State's application for admission, including the required essay, is sufficient for award consideration.
Grant recipients may also be eligible for additional merit-based scholarships at MSU. Applicants are encouraged to apply by November 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
