Ohio Spartan Grant

The Ohio Spartan Grant is awarded to Ohio residents who are admitted to Michigan State University as incoming first-year students pursuing an undergraduate degree. The amount awarded to each student varies each year. This grant is renewable for four years as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria outlined in the out-of-state scholarship regulations. Michigan State's application for admission, including the required essay, is sufficient for award consideration.

Grant recipients may also be eligible for additional merit-based scholarships at MSU. Applicants are encouraged to apply by November 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
