Ohio Spartan Grant

The Ohio Spartan Grant automatically awards a minimum of $10,000 to Ohio residents who are admitted to Michigan State University as incoming freshmen pursuing an undergraduate degree. This grant is renewable for four years as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria outlined in the out-of-state scholarship regulations. Michigan State's application for admission, including the required essay, is sufficient for award consideration.

Grant recipients may also be eligible for additional merit-based scholarships at MSU. Applicants are encouraged to apply by November 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
