Green and White Day

Michigan State has reached capacity for Green and White Days and reservations are now closed. If you would like to schedule a campus visit, please make a reservation for a prospective student tour.

Green and White Days are special open house-style programs that allow you to connect with campus resources and see inside facilities not typically offered during regular tours. The open house format gives you the flexibility to customize your schedule and explore campus at your own pace.

Green and White Days repeat daily on July 21 and 24-28, with programs starting at 9 a.m. and concluding by 4 p.m.

Below is a tentative schedule of options during Green and White Days:

9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
  • Admissions presentation and Green and White Days overview

10:45 - 11:45 a.m.
  • Attend an academic information session
    • College of Agriculture and Natural Resources
    • Residential College in Arts and Humanities
    • College of Arts and Letters
    • Eli Broad College of Business
    • College of Communication Arts and Sciences
    • College of Education
    • College of Engineering
    • James Madison College
    • Lyman Briggs College
    • College of Music
    • College of Natural Science
    • College of Nursing
    • College of Social Science
    • College of Veterinary Medicine
Lunch (on your own)
  • Food trucks available until 2:30 p.m.
11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Green and White Day Courtyard open
    • Browse through tents filled with tables of student organizations and campus resources.
11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Residence Hall tours: pick from two different styles of residence halls
12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Spartan Marching Band Information Session
12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Tour options: each tour approximately 30-45 minutes in length, running continuously between 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
    • Bus tour of campus
    • Walking tour of campus
1:00, 2:00, 3:00 p.m.
  • Breakout sessions: Five different breakout options that repeat at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
