Financing Your Education

Due to emerging health concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), MSU has canceled all in-person admissions events through May 1, 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please know that we are still very committed to connecting with you and your family about becoming a Spartan. While events on campus have been canceled, we do have a self-guided tour option. In addition, our admissions counselors are actively available and ready to answer any questions and concerns you may have. To identify and connect with your admissions counselor, please visit the Office of Admissions counselor contact page.

Congratulations on your admission to Michigan State University! As you look ahead to beginning your college career, MSU’s Detroit Outreach Admissions Office will be hosting programs designed to help you and your parents learn more about financing your education.

These programs will assist you with understanding your MSU financial aid package and provide the opportunity for you and your parents to ask any questions you have about grants, student loans, scholarships and other financial aid options.
