The first-year application for fall 2026 is now closed. The application for fall 2027 will open in August.
Who should apply as an international student?
Apply as an international first-year student if:
- You are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder), and
- You are currently on a temporary visa or will need any type of visa to study in the U.S.
Exceptions
- If you hold dual U.S. citizenship, you should apply as a U.S. first-year student, even if you live outside the United States.
- If you’ve taken any college or university classes after finishing high school, you should apply as an international transfer student.
- Graduate applicants should follow the steps on the Graduate School application page.
