Canceling admission to MSU

If you no longer plan to attend Michigan State University for the upcoming semester, we ask that you please cancel your admission in order to make space for another deserving student.

How to cancel admission

  1. Log in to your admissions account. 
  2. Select “Cancel Application” on the first page, located on the righthand side.
  3. Complete your submission.
  4. Once completed, you have no further action to take. The university shares this information collectively.

  2. To verify your academic adviser, log in to MSU's Student Information System.
