The global studies in the arts and humanities major connects students to the global past and present by giving them the tools to actively shape their own global future. It provides a solid grounding in creative and critical methods to understand global conditions, connections and interactions. 

This major trains students in skills such as creative and analytical thinking, intercultural understanding, international experience, group problem solving, language proficiency, and global awareness and concern that are in high demand in a variety of careers.
