Religious Studies

A religious studies major sits on the ground and looks at a map while on education abroad.

Interested in religious studies?

Knowledge of the world’s religious traditions is invaluable in a career that requires familiarity with people from many cultures and backgrounds.

Religious studies is an excellent major for students seeking a career in nonprofit and nongovernment organizations. Religious studies is also the only department at MSU that offers an official concentration in nonprofit leadership.

Graduates in religious studies pursue careers in a range of industries, excelling in jobs that demand deep knowledge of theology, intercultural relations, communication and community relations.
