Agriculture and Natural Resources

At the Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, students are learning to use the principles of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business and creative design in tackling some of the world’s biggest problems related to food, energy and the environment.

Students who are interested in several College of Agriculture and Natural Resources programs but are undecided on a major can choose this as their major on the MSU application for admissions. Choosing this major preference will connect incoming new students to the CANR along with providing an opportunity to take introductory courses to explore possible majors.

Our students combine experience in the classroom and laboratory with real world opportunities like professional internships, community engagement projects and study abroad to apply what you learn in the classroom to solving real world problems.
