Environmental Biology - Microbiology

The Bachelor of Science degree program with a major in environmental biology/microbiology is designed to prepare students for work and study in the areas related to all aspects of the environment, especially relating to environmental protection and remediation. The program also prepares students for advanced study in environmental science, microbiology or other biological sciences, as well as some professional programs. Upon completion of the program, the graduate may apply for certification with the National Registry of Microbiologists of the American Society for Microbiology.
