Businesses are increasingly challenged to become environmentally sustainable and socially responsive organizations that can be effective partners in solving major environmental and societal challenges. The environmental economics and management major is focused on how to achieve the twin goals of environmental sustainability and business success.
The major includes an integrated study of environmental and natural resource economics, core business disciplines and a capstone course in corporate environmental management.
Environmental economics and management students have a passion for issues related to the environment and natural resources and desire to effect change in those areas by using their skills in economics and business analysis.
