Transfer scholarship regulations

Spartan Transfer Scholarship and Associate Achievement regulations

1. MSU Transfer scholarships are awarded to incoming transfer students. Dual enrollment, early/middle college and other credits earned during high school will not be considered. Individuals who have earned a bachelor’s degree are not eligible for consideration for transfer scholarships.
2. The scholarship recipient must enroll at MSU for the semester that the scholarship is awarded; the award may not be deferred to a subsequent semester of initial enrollment.
3. Awards are limited to six consecutive semesters of enrollment (fall and spring of an academic year) as an undergraduate.
4. MSU reserves the right to adjust an award in consideration of other MSU scholarship offers.
5. The scholarship recipient must enroll for and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester.
6. The scholarship recipient must remain in good academic standing with the university for the award to continue to be disbursed. Semesters for which the student recipient is not eligible to receive this award are included in the six-semester limit.
7. The scholarship recipient must notify the Office of Financial Aid at es.scholarships@msu.edu in writing if enrollment at MSU is disrupted (excluding summer semester) and request an official leave of absence from the university.

Trustee Scholarship regulations

1. The scholarship recipient must enroll at MSU for the semester for which the scholarship is awarded; the award may not be deferred to a subsequent semester of initial enrollment.
